The Mission of Exile Home

To recognize those outside of Academia, find and celebrate those who are excluded from public recognition and continued opportunity despite of their phenomenal talent. There is so much outside of the expert system.

who have some degree of talent should be seen and heard”

I’m convinced these disciplines really matter, and that ability is equally distributed across the population, it is recognition that lags behind.
A Utopian view of the internet conceives it as the place to recognize talent without undue concerns over education, background or credentials. And to allow those who achieve recognition to help others who deserve the same.
There should be another path.
This Website, besides a personal expression of my work, is also an organizing tool. If you are a visual artist, poet or theorist who would like to be included, please contact me. I will be responding to emails and potentially interviewing and writing about those whose work I respect who are not already widely known.
